Nick Ballering

Greetings! I am an Origins Fellow of the Virginia Initiative for Cosmic Origins (VICO) in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Virginia. My research interests revolve around exoplanetary systems. How do they form? What are their architectures? Do they have the materials needed for life? I am working to answer these questions by observing and modeling the structure and composition of circumstellar disks.
